TO WIN AT BUSINESS YOU NEED A GREAT GamePlan

There are no winning sports teams or businesses without a well thought out gameplan, and your business is no different. Without a plan, you simply cannot operate a successful company; that’s where The Entrepreneur’s Gameplan comes in.

Using tried and true business best practices from author and successful entrepreneur, Mark V. Mertel, you’ll find out if your Gameplan has a legitimate chance for success or even if it’s worth executing.

The Entrepreneur's Gameplan by Mark Mertel book

Introduction

Do any of these questions sound familiar?

  • I’ve got this great idea, but what do I do next?
  • How can I grow my present business or charity to the next level?
  • Do I have what it takes to be an entrepreneur?
  • How do I figure out how much money I will need?
  • Where can I go for solid business advice?
  • I’m a little scared about starting my own business. What if it doesn’t work?

Answering those questions and more is what The Entrepreneur’s Gameplan is all about. You’ll learn how to build the best Gameplan for your business or charity, and you’ll have myself and the team from Enterprise Growth Group (EGG), by your side, coaching you. Whether you’re just starting out or have an existing business, this winning combination will help you achieve the success you desire.

A Shocking Statistic

50% OF ALL STARTUPS FAIL WITHIN 5 YEARS!

Does the statistic above[i] give you pause? If you’re considering starting a business (or expanding one), it should.

But there’s good news, too. The biggest cause for these failures is lack of preparation. And when it comes to preparation, you’re in the driver’s seat. The more prepared you are, the less likely you are to become part of that 50%.

If you want to be as prepared as possible before you launch a business, you’ve come to the right place. The Entrepreneur’s Gameplan (TEG), combined with coaching from Enterprise Growth Group, will show you how to create a Gameplan to beat those odds and build a successful company.

COACH’S TIP  —  Throughout The Entrepreneur’s Gameplan, I’ll refer to its title using the acronym TEG.

What is a Gameplan?

Gameplan: A carefully thought-out strategy or course of action, as in politics, business, or one’s personal affairs. In sports, the overall strategy of a team for winning a specific game. [Dictionary.com]

As you’ve probably already noticed, TEG was written using a team sports theme. Pick your sport: football, baseball, basketball, hockey, you name it. If the team members have the basic skills, work hard, work smart, have a great coach, and execute their Gameplan, then they have an excellent chance for success.

TEG is all about eliminating entrepreneurial misdirection and giving you the knowledge you need to create your Gameplan now, so that you’re on the right track from the beginning. By the way, TEG is intended to help you create a Gameplan for a new business or a charity or one that you want to take to the next level. All references to businesses and entrepreneurs apply equally to charities and the people who run them.

Charity: A nonprofit organization that uses its income and profits to help those in need by giving, money, food, medical care, and/or other aid, with the goal of improving lives in a community, region, and/or around the world. Note that all charities are nonprofits, but not all nonprofits are charities.

Nonprofit: A group that furthers the purpose for which it has been formed. Examples include social advocacy groups, civil leagues, social and recreational clubs, fraternal societies, employee associations, and charities. Note that all charities are nonprofits, but not all nonprofits are charities.

Overview & Preview

Entrepreneurs are unlike any other businesspeople: you not only have the guts and skills to start a company, but also have the commitment to stick with it through thick or thin. You’re in this for the long game, ready to build your business into the success you know it can be.

Without those three things, your business unfortunately won’t get very far. But the good news is that all of them are here for you. So, you change your odds from 50% of all startups failing to EGG’s 85% success rate.
